As The Point Villas form part of the exclusive "The Point" estate, with its full security access, and are only 10 minutes’ drive from the thriving township of Taupo, guests enjoy both complete privacy and the convenience of being close to a myriad of public amenities and services.

The Point Villas are a 3 hour drive south from Auckland or 4.5 hours north from Wellington. Alternatively, Air New Zealand have several daily flights from either Auckland or Wellington to Taupo. Rental cars and private charter flights can also be arranged.

Directions to The Point Villas
Drive to Acacia Bay on the western side of the bay from Taupo, pass the store and restaurant on the left, follow straight on into Wakeman Road and continue for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the security gates at The Point. This is approximately a ten-minute drive.

The gates will open using a code that guests are given as part of their booking process. Take the lower road on the left, turning right at the T junction. The Point Villas are at number 24, across the road from the tennis courts. The Point Villas Manager always endeavours to meet the guests, however if this is not possible a door will be left unlocked for you.
