The Point Villas are a 3 hour drive south from Auckland or 4.5 hours north from Wellington. Alternatively, Air New Zealand have several daily flights from either Auckland or Wellington to Taupo. Rental cars and private charter flights can also be arranged.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH

Instead of heading into TAUPO Township, turn RIGHT at the top of the hill Leading into TAUPO. ( INTO POIHIPI ROAD)

TURN immediately left into ACACIA BAY ROAD and head towards ACACIA BAY.

Follow the long stretch of road that leads towards ACACIA BAY, proceed past a 50 kph sign at the end of the stretch.

Continue straight ahead along WAKEMAN ROAD, do not turn left towards ACACIA BAY but continue all the way for another 5 minutes until you reach the POINT SECURITY GATES right at the end of the road. ( there is a sign 100 Meters from our security gate “road ends in 100 meters Turn around ” …

Keep driving as you are 100 meters from SECURITY GATE ENTRANCE TO THE POINT .

Put in the gate code xxxx # and the gates will swing open.

Take the lower road to the left, turning right at the T junction. THE POINT VILLAS are at number 24 on the left across the road from the tennis courts.

There is parking for up to 4 cars on the property.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH

Drive through TAUPO TOWNSHIP — veer left at the round about and drive across a bridge before taking the first turn on the LEFT which follow up the hill to join with ACACIA BAY ROAD.

Continue following the directions above heading towards ACACIA BAY.
